The start of the summer holidays seem a long
time ago but Marton celebrated on the
Saturday 13 July with The Great Marton Get
Together.
The weather behaved itself and there was a
great turnout, also helped by a strong
publicity campaign in the area. Pleasingly this
was also reflected in the overall cash take, so
important in this year when the MPFA are
looking towards improving the Pavilion (see
above). When Dinyar had completed the
accounts a sizable £1,700 had been added to
the coffers.
