Local History Group: May 2019 Update

In May the Group had guided walk around historic Kineton, ably led by Mike Johnson (pictured). This took in many historic buildings from the church’s west tower, said to date from 1315, to the north side of the market square where there is a row of five tenements that were once alms houses dating from the early 17th century.

This was the last Group event until the new season starts in October. More details about the new season will be announced nearer the time.

This will be the Group’s AGM (free entry and free glass of wine), followed by Group members giving a presentation on “recent finds in the museum”. Do come along to the AGM so you can share your thoughts and ideas about meeting topics for the next season
