The new season got off to a good start with a well-attended meeting in which a talk was given about the history of Meadow Bank in the Chapel End section of High Street. The house history information from the meeting, including the memories of those present, has been added to the History section of the village website.
The next meeting is on November 27th where a talk will be given by an external speaker, David Morse, about the history of the local Home Guard. All welcome, entrance fee £3, includes a glass of wine.
